Before You Make This Years Resolutions You Must Consider
How to “clear the deck” to catapult your
dreams and goals into 2011!
"This is the time of year people make resolutions they don't plan to keep!" Did you know 95% of all New Year's resolutions are either forgotten or broken by "Blue Monday", the third Monday in January?
If you want to achieve the New Years Resolutions and Goals that you are intending, there is a 5 step path to real success.
1. Choose which goals you will fully commit to.
2. Release any hurts, disappointments, resentments, fears and frustrations from this year. In order to move forward.
3. Decide which goals you will de-commit from or let go of. (You know those goals that you set, year after year and never achieve. it may be time to drop them altogether.
4. Complete, celebrate and acknowledge all last years and prior success to add momentum to the new year and activate your self confidence and courage.
5. Create your new "blueprint" by writing your goals down, having a collage a Vision Board, a Treasure Map or Dream Board… of your visions and a real action plan to achieve your dreams in 2011.
Do you set the same goals year after year with out really ever attaining them? If you do then you are giving your subconscious mind a very powerful message that you are not really wanting the goal you are setting. I am not talking about a long term goal that may take a few years to achieve, I am referring to the "frivolous" goals that are set with good intentions and then forgotten about or broken, each year.
Do you know which goals they are for you? Is it a weight or fitness goal? A relationship goal? An educational one? A financial one? Which one of these do you just keep meaning to follow through on, but never manage to find the time or have the willpower to "Just Do It".
Your Subconscious mind knows that you are not serious about having what you say you want and therefore, it will continue to sabotage the result, not because its your worst enemy, but because it's what it has been programmed for, year after year
Now, it's time to commit or to de-commit and its OK either way.
When you fully commit to a goal; then you can be confident about being guided to take the right actions steps to achieve your goals.
When you de- commit from a goal then you can be assured that you will release old heavy "baggage" and guilt that has held you back and it will give you a sense of freedom and new energy to allow the new goals to be achieved more easily and effortlessly.
You will be amazed at how much energy is "free-ed" up, once you actually let go of the old goals that you have been "should-ing" on your self about. In fact in some cases the mere fact of letting go and releasing the obligation and worry about the goal, gives it the space to manifest anyway.
Psychologists say that we can only consciously pay attention to 7 plus or minus 2 things at any one time, if there is more "on our plates" our attention units can become overwhelmed.
This is explained in Jack Canfield's recent work, "Success Principles", where he mentions this, discovered by a German psychologist, "who noticed that a waitress, who had not yet had the bill paid, could remember everything that was ordered for the meal even if there were eight people at the table, but as soon as the bill was paid,she could not remember half of it, which is good, as her mind was able to become "present" to focus on the next thing."
To free up your mind's attention units for the year:
- De- commit from unfinished, forgotten goals now.
2. Acknowledge yourself for anything you have achieved, celebrate it and declare it complete!As you have heard now, so many times:
"Like attracts like", "Success breeds success".
More success will come your way, when you "feel" successful, but you cannot feel successful if you do not look for and acknowledge your successes. The success can be major or minor. it doesn't matter. What matters is that you acknowledge yourself for whatever you did do. Write down now, your success's from last year.
3. And finally create a new (or update your old) goal "Blueprint" or Vision board to give your mind and brain the clearest vision of what you really want.

Easy answer but not really simple - if you love money… Yes!
If You love what money can buy then you may consider putting pictures
of the “end result” of what the money can bring you.
Peace of Mind,
Luxury travel, Clothes, Jewelry,
Cars, houses, great restaurants
Personal makeovers… etc.
( Add your dreams of what Money will bring you)
Then calibrate yourself - Ask HOW DOES THIS FEEL?
If there is a twinge and feeling less than pure excitement and joy…
Change the picture.
Your Vision Board is a picture of your Future,
it talks directly to your subconscious mind.
Take notice of your deepest feelings and the small voice in your head.
Fine tuning techniques like these will help you get what you want faster
easier and in wonderful ways.

Man drives over his morning coffee!

Man drives over his morning coffee!
It was a lovely spring morning in Melbourne. The sun was shining, the air was crisp and a gentle breeze rustled the leaves on the trees. The corner deli/cafe was busy, as usual, with customers parking their cars and quickly running into the shop to buy their morning Latte and assorted snacks.
Have you ever noticed how some people when trying to juggle too many parcels will put their drink, coffee, briefcase or purse on the roof of their car, while they open the door and then put everything else in their hands inside the car? How many times do you see someone drive away - with the item still on the roof?
This day my sister and I were engaged in a lovely morning conversation when all of a sudden “BAM” it sounded like an explosion!
We looked to see where the sound came from… all we saw was a black sedan pulling away from the curb and we noticed left behind in the street was a crushed coffee cup still with the lid on the cup and the beverage (coffee) splattered all over the road. We were shocked, embarrassed and then burst into laughter. OMG! That poor guy!
Did he even realize that he’d just driven over his own coffee?
We wondered when he would notice if at all, that he didn’t get the
Morning “heart starter” drink he specially stopped for, spent time and money to collect!
What must have been on his mind to not even remember that he had placed the coffee on the ground, instead of on the roof or better yet INSIDE his car!
How many people are NOT PRESENT, in their lives?
Running on Auto pilot - racing through the day - physically present but mentally far away, all the time!
Who knows why that man drove over his own coffee that morning…
hopefully he was able to get another coffee and actually enjoyed drinking it.
How can YOU benefit from this story?
Where are you not present - using the forgotten coffee as a metaphor-
is there anything you want that you just keep leaving behind because your life and/ or mind “gets too busy?”
Where can you be MORE present, more in the moment, less pre-occupied with your thoughts and more in the experience of life!
When you are present, you have more energy available to you.
When you are not present you are leaking energy. When your energy resonates at higher frequencies and you raise your level of conscious awareness you are less preoccupied with worrying about the future or regretting the past.
The only power you have to make any choice or change is in the present moment. The more present you are the more power you have and you tap into the higher levels of consciousness - the mind chatter drops away and the feeling of peace, serenity and harmony starts to wash over you.
Your personal power expands from your core and it radiates outward. Your Aura expands, your charisma increases and you become in control of your actions and reactions. You may even become “luckier.”
